What is an Alaskan charter school?
All charter schools in Alaska are public schools. They are tuition free, open-enrollment schools that have the flexibility to offer unique education opportunities for Alaskan students. This flexibility is possible because they operate under a charter agreement within a district.
The Alaska Public Charter School Association (APCSA) is dedicated to strengthening and advocating for charter schools across Alaska. We provide resources, support, and a platform for collaboration among schools, parents, and educators to enhance the educational landscape in our state.
